    My first time trying soul food place and it was great. Told server about our first time and she was super helpful and nice. I got chicken and fish with 2 sides. Fish was very crispy from outside and super tender from inside. Chicken was just amazing. Loved the seasoning, it was really flavorful. Cornbread was great too. Was too full to eat the sides. We ordered 2 plates with 4 sides and personally didn’t like cheese grits, tasted too bland. Mac and cheese and fried okra was good. Would highly recommend this and will be coming again soon.

    Food was great, like really great, and everyone was friendly. Only issue was, we saw a table big enough for our group. It just needed to be cleaned off. Took about 20 min to clean it off, then another 25 for us to be sat at that exact table. Thought it was weird. But still would go back

    First time trying this place and I'm glad it's around! Not too many chicken and waffle places around that taste like home cooked meals. It's chicken and waffles. Plain and simple. The chicken is flavorful to say the least. So good! The staff is nice and the food is awesome. Will definitely be coming back!

    Service was great! Food was so good and huge portions. The smothered chicken was amazing, waffles too! Love the Lo-Lo's hot sauce! Only 3 stars for cleanliness. Needs to be dusted & cleaned from top to bottom. The couch cushions outside are dingy dirty. Even tho the food was great ill think twice about going back because of it.

    Stopped by Saturday night around 10pm with my family. The staff was friendly, but the service was okay. The chicken was good but it seemed a little old. The waffles were fine. Nothing to write home about . The best part was the kool-aid, but the waiter never brought us refills. However, we did get to go cups which made up for it a little bit.
